SALM’s success story
Since 1924, Salm in Vienna has been known for pure taste of beer, resource-saving production processes and of course the love for the art of brewing. True to the motto “life is too short for bad beer”, the company constantly evolved over the years to ensure consistent quality standards in the production of brewing equipment.
100 years ago, Georg Welledits and Otto v. Salm laid the foundation for a successful company which nevertheless went through ups and downs (e.g. during the war). However, with the passion for the art of brewing it was possible to master any crisis. Indeed, Salm continuously grew over time and in the 70s started with exports outside Europe as well as international cooperations which are bearing fruit to this day.
